A new mother has taken her baby girl home from the hospital. The mother calls the clinic concerned her baby girl is having her period. How should the nurse respond to this mother?
 
  A) The baby may have a problem, let's schedule an appointment.
  B) This can be related to cleaning her perineal area; be more careful.
  C) This can be from the sudden withdrawal of your hormones. It is not a cause of alarm.
  D) If this continues, call us back for now just watch her.
