The lowest brand associations are concrete product attributes like size, color, flavor and shape. For example, the amount of memory on a computer. The next level of brand association includes product benefits. This includes a jacket that keeps you warm and a computer that is reliable and you are able to use to get your homework done. As you move up the hierarchy, benefits become more intangible. The top level includes emotional benefits. An example would be: Does that nice, new Calvin Klein shirt attract the girl in class you like?
