Answer to Question 1

The Internet can be used for many aspects of the job search process, including locating information on industries, occupations, and organizations; accessing available positions; posting your resume; and contacting employers. Job banks, corporate web sites, and niche sites can all be used in the job search process.

Answer to Question 2

Classified ads often provide only vague information. Experts suggest that as few as 15 of positions are filled through the want ads. Some advertised openings may not be openings at all.
