Answer to Question 1

International and local competitors could appropriate the product/service idea and deliver the final product.or service to the market more swiftly, economically, and with stronger company backing than the initial product/service developer. International target consumers might not respond as anticipated to the offering (as in the case illustrated above), because it does not meet their needs, because they cannot afford it, or because they prefer to adopt a product later in the product lifecycle stage. Local governments or the home-country government might impose restrictions on product testing procedures. Finally, the technological infrastructure of the market could be substandard and may not be able to support the new product.
