Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

C
Production is moved to low-cost countries in the mature stage of the product life cycle. Products are then imported to the home country and other industrialized countries in the mature stage. Although production remains in low-cost countries in the decline stage it is less likely that products will be imported to the host country in this stage. In the decline stage, the firm is more likely to distribute to other developing countries where the product has not yet reached the decline stage. This may be found in The Maturity Stage section (10-1c).
