Countries of the former Soviet Union are plagued by inflation and instability, but they also have a literate, educated work force and an excess of highly qualified labor. They also have a consuming public that is eager to experience new products. Among attractive markets of the former Soviet Union are the Baltic Republics, Russian and Belarus.
