What can be said about the statistics in single subject research?
 
  a. They are not used at all.
  b. Descriptive statistics are used , but inferential statistics are not needed.

Inferential statistics are not used because it is inappropriate to make inferences about populations based on data gathered from only one subject. Descriptive statistics can be used to show changes in the rate of responding .
