What are prejudice and discrimination, and what is the relationship between the two?

Answer to Question 1

Prejudice refers to negative attitudes held toward another group, and discrimination refers to behaviors or unfair and unequal treatment. Prejudice often leads to discrimination, but does not necessarily do so. Similarly, discrimination may lead to actual prejudice but does not always.
