Answer to Question 1

Capitalism and deviance are linked in several ways. Critics of the economic system are considered deviants, as are those who are unwilling to work. People who threaten private property in some way are deviants under capitalism, as well as those who demonstrate a lack of respect for authority. Finally, activities are approved or condemned, based on their congruence with the economic system.
