Answer to Question 1

In the functionalist view most resources go to those who perform the more important functions.These are thought to be the more capable and more industrious people. The fewest resources go to those who perform the less important functions.These are thought to be the less capable and less industrious people. Under the conflict theory view most resources go to those who occupy the more powerful positions, and the fewest resources go to those who occupy the less powerful positions.
