Gemeinschaft means intimate community. Gesellschaft means impersonal association. Society is changing, or has changed, from a Gemeinschaft in the direction of a Gesellschaft.

Medical incompetence refers to mistakes made in hospitals that kill or injure patients.The more innocuous term, adverse events, is officially used.If deaths from medical errors were an official classification, they would be the third leading cause of death in the United States.
