Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER:
Hypnotized people tend not to begin actions on their own, waiting instead for the hypnotists instructions. Second, their attention is redistributed, and hypnotized people ignore everything except the hypnotist's voice and whatever it points out. Third, hypnosis enhances the ability to fantasize. Fourth, hypnotized people are good at taking on roles. They easily and convincingly behave as if they were very old, a member of the opposite sex, a rock star, and so on. Fifth, hypnotized individuals show reduced reality testing and greater willingness to accept apparent distortions of reality. In addition, many hypnotized people experience posthypnotic amnesia and cannot remember what happened while they were hypnotized.
