Answer to Question 1

(1 ) their diet, which contains little meat;
(2 ) their amount of physical activity, which includes lifelong work;
(3 ) their highly developed sense of community

Answer to Question 2

Inflation has suppressed the value of the dollars that workers earn. Therefore, today's worker can buy little more with their 20 per hour than the 1970's worker could with their 3 per hour wage.
