What is meant by the phrase hollow corporations?
 
  a. corporations do not invest in technology
  b. corporations seek investment from foreign capital
  c. corporations subcontract their production abroad
  d. corporations engaged in activities other than production such as investment in the stock market
  e. corporations serve as front organizations for illegal activities such as drug smuggling
