0.25 mL

Global Rationale: mL/dose = 1 mL/50 mg x 12.5 mg/1 dose. Multiply the numerators and divide by the denominators. The client will receive 0.25 mL of medication.

Answer to Question 2

0.8 mL

Global Rationale: mL/dose = 1 mL/10,000 units x 8,000 units/1 dose. The client will receive 0.8 mL per dose.
