Answer to Question 1

A purchase requisition is filled out when someone in an organization needs goods or services. A purchase requisition is a request to buy a good or a service and it is typically sent to the purchasing department or, in a smaller business, to the owner for approval. If the request is approved, then a purchase order is prepared and sent to an outside vendor specifying the items desired.
