How many inner, outer, and valence electrons are present in an atom of Se?

total electrons=34

valence electrons=6

inner and outer electrons?

total electrons is 34
inner 2
outer 8

total valence electrons would be 8
first only can hold 2, then second holds 8, third holds 8, fourth holds 8, 5th holds 8   totalling 34
