Answer to Question 1

According to various studies, peer tutoring can improve academic achievement, interpersonal relationships, and attitudes toward various subjects. For peer tutoring to succeed, explicit guidelines need to be in place so that both the tutors and those being tutored are aware of their appropriate roles, and the tutor must be held accountable for the performance of the peer he is tutoring.

Answer to Question 2

One biological factor that predisposes males to be active and aggressive is neurological. Boys have been found to have an overactive behavioral activation system and an underactive behavioral inhibition system, both of which are in the frontal lobes of the brain. The second factor is hormonal. Aggressive boys tend to have higher testosterone levels and a higher tolerance for pain.
