Answer to Question 1

Parents are most likely to influence values, political thinking, moral development, and occupational choice. Peers are most likely to influence dress, hair styles, interests, and social relationships.

Answer to Question 2

Far transfer occurs when previously learned knowledge and skills are used much later on dissimilar tasks and under different conditions. An example is a high school student who joins the debating society, learns debating skills, and writes an award-winning essay years later as a journalist.
