One very appropriate reason for leaving a position is that
 
  A) you have overcommitted yourself and can't find another way to solve the problem.
  B) you have lots of opportunities for advancement in your present job.
  C) you cannot seem to work anywhere near to your potential.
  D) you are ambitious and you know you won't get a promotion for several months.
