Biological factors that predispose males to be active and assertive, such as higher testosterone levels, as well as cultural factors that encourage males to express themselves in physical ways, often lead to aggressive and violent behavior.

Yes, there is a difference. The statistics on bullying clearly show that more girls than boys engage in bullying with most of it taking the form of insults, name-calling, and rumor trading. While boys also engage in verbal bullying, they rely more on such physical forms of bullying as pushing, shoving, hitting, and tripping.
