Individuals who are Type A have an intense desire to achieve, are extremely competitive, have a sense of urgency, are impatient, and can be hostile. Such individuals have a strong need to get a lot done in a short time period and can be difficult to get along with because they are so driven. Type A's are more likely than Type B's to have coronary heart disease. Type A employees are not particularly good team players and often work best alone.
