B

Answer to Question 2

This is a diagnostic method that determines the difference between what the organization is actually doing and what it could be doing. In gap analysis, data are collected on the actual state of the organization on a varying set of dimensions and also on the ideal or desired state. The gap between the actual state and the ideal forms a basis for diagnosis and the design of interventions.
