reasonable to concede and when to walk away. The negotiator who has researched the counterparty's BATNA and
interests is less likely to be tricked or confused. Some of the questions prior to commencing negotiations are: What
do I want? What are the issues in the negotiation? What issues are relevant to the other party? Is agreement
required?
