Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

Primary activities are business functions that relate directly to the production of an
organization's products or services. Primary activities include inbound logistics, operations,
customer service, and sales and marketing. These activities add value to a product. Support
activities are business functions that assist and facilitate the primary activities. Supporting
functions add value to a product indirectly. They also have costs and contribute to a margin. It is
difficult to calculate their margins because the specific value added is difficult to measure.
