Answer to Question 1

The Microsoft Web Platform Installer is a downloadable Microsoft utility that is used to monitor and update Web server installations on a computer. The advantage of using it to install PHP is that the workstation installation is simplified for us. Disadvantages are (1 ) the WPI does not install PHP the way we needed it installed, and (2 ) an older version of PHP, version 5.3.5, is installed instead of the latest release, which is 5.3.28 as used in the text.

Answer to Question 2

FALSE
