Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

A direct implementation process switches off the old system and launches all the modules of the new one on a single, very hectic go-live date. A major advantage is that all those temporary bridges between old and new modules are unnecessary, and people whose roles span modules do not have to switch back and forth. The strategy works well for smaller systems and may be the only logical choice for them. But the risks can be high for large-scale implementations of complex software, such as the ERP, involving thousands of employees.
