Answer to Question 1

View materialization refers to saving a view as an actual physical table. Such a view is referred to as a materialized view. The idea behind view materialization is to improve the performance of queries on frequently used views.

Answer to Question 2

The delete restrict option does not allow a record to be deleted if its primary key value is referred to by a foreign key value.
