One of the biggest benefits is that integrated systems allow the organization to reduce its inventory and cut personnel costs. These systems will also help smaller companies provide a level of customer service that is equal to that provided by larger companies so they will be able to compete better. Getting better and more timely information should also help both managers and employees make better decisions. Also, by standardizing hardware, software and IT policies the company will save money in the long run.
