Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

Technology provides the primary framework for the architecture of information systems. A set of forces compete and cooperate to change the architecture of an information system far beyond the vision of the original architects. The architecture of an information system is made possible and constrained by the information technology. Hence, technology is the primary force of architectural change.
The effects of technology are both direct and indirect. A successful technology has a ripple effect that is either not foreseen when it is introduced or is understood only dimly. First, we discover that a new technology, created in the hope of solving a specific set of problems, holds the promise of solving other problems. Then we set out to create the missing pieces that would allow the technology to realize its perceived potential. In turn, some of these new pieces create ripple effects of their own, and so on.

People who have myopia, or nearsightedness, are not able to see objects at a distance but only up close. It occurs when the cornea is either curved too steeply, the eye is too long, or both. This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
