Answer to Question 1

Architecture as the actual organization of a system is a subject of patterns; architecture as a way to view the system or its development is an area of methodology. How architecture combines or uses patterns is called its style. Architecture might combine all or some of the same patterns in a different style. In other words, style is how a combination of architectural elements and patterns make a certain architecture different from, or similar to, other architectures.

Answer to Question 2
