Multiplicity is how many instances of one class can associate with instances of another class. In the example of Find Patients, the UI needs multiple instances of the Dialog Box class to display messages and exceptions. In addition, since Find Patients might display multiple patients, its relationship with forms such as Patient Profile and Appointments is one-to-many.
