Answer to Question 1

Very small organizations may have only one or two servers, whereas large organizations might have hundreds. One way to take advantage of multiple servers in the enterprise is to connect them together into a group called a server cluster. To a client device accessing a server cluster, the servers in the cluster appear to be a single server. A key advantage of having servers participate in a cluster is that the servers in the cluster can share their workload, resulting in the load balancing of network traffic. Another advantage of server clusters is that they provide improved fault tolerance. Should one of the servers in the cluster fail, other servers in the cluster can be configured to take over the failing server's responsibilities. This process is referred to as failover capability.
