A young couple carry the gene for a rare genetic disorder that causes severe mental retardation and physiological problems incompatible with life.
 
  They have conceived twice, however, both children had the disorder and died within 2 months after birth. They come to the fertility clinic and tell the nurse, After you harvest the eggs and fertilize them, throw out all the bad ones, and give us only the good ones.
