Answer to Question 1

ANS: A, B, C
Leadership, research, and comprehensive assessment are functions that are completed by both APHNs and NPs. The APHN is more systems focused and would conduct a community assess-ment, whereas the NP has an individual/family focus and would conduct an individual health assessment.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A, B, C
Legal issues, professional isolation, conflicting expectations, liability, collaborative practice, and professional responsibilities all may cause stress for advanced practice nurses. Role confusion and advanced education are not factors causing stress for advanced practice nurses.
