Reliability exists in degrees and is usually expressed as a form of correlation coefficient, with 1.00 indicating perfect reliability and .00 indicating no reliability.
Equivalence of items is determined with parallel forms reliability.
Test-retest reliability determines stability of an instrument.
Correlation coefficients do not determine validity.

Sensitivity refers to the ability of an instrument to detect minute changes between measures and/or subjects.
