Answer to Question 1

ANS: D
Predicted indicates that a predictive correlational design was used.
Category just tells the reader that more than one group was included. Predicted indicates that a predictive correlational design was used.
Exploring essentially means investigated in this sense. Predicted indicates that a predictive correlational design was used.
More gives a direction to the findings. Predicted indicates that a predictive correlational design was used.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A
Because they are usually conducted at many sites over a large geographical area, clinical trials take more funds than comparable research in one area. Only recently have large dollar amounts been more accessible to nurses.
Great value has always been seen and given to clinical-based research.
Nurse researchers have expertise in conducting large studies, as many survey-based, descriptive studies have a large sample.
Many questions would benefit from investigation in many areas with many subjects.
