In studies that demonstrate positive health care outcomes from nursing interventions,
 
  home visits after childbirth have been shown to reduce parental anxiety and decrease the number of accidents and emergency department visits. Why is it that all public health agencies do not require nurses to make such home visits?
 
  A. It is too difficult to get the names and addresses of new mothers from the hospitals.
  B. New moms are too stressed to have a visitor, even if that visitor is a nurse who is trying to be helpful.
