1, Indicate that as trust in government increases, support for government programs and the willingness to be taxed to support those programs increasesand vice versa.
2, Explain why trust is linked to funding support and beliefs about the effective orineffective use of the public's money.
3, Explain that current low levels of political trust make it less likely that Americans will support such a program.
