Another way to evaluate an intervention is with the principle of fairness. This comes from due process law and states that in decision making affecting one's life, liberty, or vital interests, the elements of due process will be observed (for example: __________, fair hearing, representation by counsel, present evidence, and appeal to an adverse decision).
