ANS: Photography allows us to see without fatigue, is not selective (i.e. it captures everything in any particular frame), and is an easier and less time-consuming mode of data collection than written description.

ANS: This may involve census taking, mapping, document analysis, genealogies, photography, structured and unstructured interviews, participant observation, etc.
