Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Explain how shared-big book reading helps children learn about print.

The enlarged text in big books allows children to see the print that is being read. Teachers can use a pointer and draw children's attention to specific letters and words, enhancing children's print knowledge. In addition, teachers can use the pointer to track print, helping children learn the concept of the directionality of written language. It's important to note that, in order for this learning to occur, teacher must draw children's attention to print during reading.
