D

Answer to Question 2

Explain how literacy-enriched dramatic play center promote young children's reading and writing development.

Linking literacy and play can provide motivation for learning to read and write. Literacy- enriched play environments encourage children to engage in emergent reading and writing. These environments also provide opportunities to learn early literacy skills such as alphabet knowledge, print recognition, phonics, concepts of print, and comprehension skills.
