Answer to Question 1

B
The patient with diabetes should exercise regularly. Exercise can reduce insulin resistance and increase glucose uptake for as long as 72 hours as well as reducing blood pressure and lipid levels. However, exercise can carry some risks for patients with diabetes, including hypoglycemia.

Answer to Question 2

A
Feedback:
Identifying the cause of the pain is the essential first step to controlling it. Once the cause of the pain is identified, interventions can be implemented to try to control it. Psychological factors, sleeping position, and medications that interfere with sleep would then be analyzed once the cause of the pain is identified.
