Answer to Question 1

D
Feedback:
Insomnia is a symptom, and the underlying cause must be investigated. Because of this, a thorough assessment must be completed before implementing any of the other options. Insomnia is not necessarily a short-term problem.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
Advanced age can affect the pharmacokinetics of cytotoxic drugs and doses need to be adjusted carefully to account for altered glomerular filtration rates. The risk of mortality and complications is greater for persons over the age of 70 . Older adults do not differ significantly from adults of other ages in the ability to tolerate radiation therapy. The same basic care measures apply to older patients undergoing these treatments as to adults of any age.
