Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
When much edema is present, excessive activity should be avoided because it will increase the circulation of the fluid with the toxic wastes it contains and can subject the patient to profound intoxication. Oxygen should not be reduced. Encouraging deep breathing will not help with excessive edema. Dietary changes will not immediately help with the excessive edema.

Answer to Question 2

A, B, C, D, E
Functions of the skin include protection from the environment (pathogenic organisms, foreign substances, natural barrier against infection), temperature regulation, prevention of dehydration, excretion of waste products, and vitamin D synthesis.
