Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

Metamorphic rocks differ from their parent rocks in crystal shape, crystal size, mineral composition, and sometimes a foliated texture. For example, a phaneritic granite can become a foliated gneiss after metamorphism. A muddy limestone will become a coarse-crystalled marble after metamorphism.
