Counter-terrorism usually entails military operations to combat terrorist organizations. Counter
insurgency refers to the use of both military and other political and economic policies to address
insurgencies, both at home or abroad.

(1 ) Maritime climate: along the Atlantic coast; the climate is dominated by ocean influences, with moderate temperatures and ample precipitation.
(2 ) Continental climate: inland, on continental Europe, this climate has hotter summers and colder, snowier winters.
(3 ) Mediterranean climate: in the southern part of Europe, along the Mediterranean Sea; this climate has a dryer summer and warmer temperatures.
