Mrs. Barber announces to her third graders at the beginning of math, Congratulations, James. Because you've been so good about bringing your math work all week, I'm giving you this certificate, and she handed James a certificate, which said:
 
  JAMES IS A MATH WHIZ. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR CONSCIENTIOUS MATH WORK.
