A trading company provides a link between buyers and sellers in different countries but is not involved in manufacturing or owning assets related to manufacturing. A trading company buys products in one country at the lowest price consistent with quality and sells to buyers in another country. An important function that trading companies provide is taking title to products and performing all the activities necessary to move the products from the domestic country to a foreign country.
